Finding case information through official eCourts services

Use the official eCourts portal to locate available case information and learn what details to keep ready before a search.

General information · Published 17 October 2026 · Check current requirements with the relevant authority

Use the official portal

The e-Committee describes eCourts Services as a source of case status, orders and judgments with several search options. Start at the official government portal and select the relevant court or search method.

Keep the CNR, case number, party details and court information available where known. Search options and CAPTCHA requirements may change. This website links to the service and does not retrieve or store your search details.

Read the result in context

Check that the parties, case number and court match the matter you intended to find. Note the record date and obtain the relevant order rather than relying only on a short status label.

Online information may need clarification or updating. Confirm hearing requirements, appearances and procedural directions with your advocate or the relevant court. A website search is not a substitute for reading the actual order.

Records to organise

  • CNR or case number, if known.
  • Court name, case type and year.
  • Party details sufficient to identify the correct matter.
  • Copies of relevant orders already available to you.

Bring copies for discussion and keep originals secure. This is a preparation list, not an exhaustive statutory filing checklist.
